Mals- Ecommerce Information and Help
You had the option of having your store seamlessly integrated with Mals Ecommence to handle shipping calculations, credit card payment collection and/or to accept Paypal.com payments. If your store was setup to integrate with Mals, you would have been notified of this in your Login Email. If you did NOT receive this information, then your store does NOT use Mals and the following information does NOT apply to you. NOTE: Mals Ecommerce has already been set up for you so there is no need for you to customize or enter any information in the Account Details or Setup areas. Orders: When an order is placed at your site, you will receive 2 emails. One from mals and one from your store. The one from the store is a notice that someone intended to buy something, and the one from Mal's verifies they finished the transaction. I would suggest holding onto to the one from Mals for your records. This will include the order details, shipping information, addresses, etc. If you are to receive ONLY 1 email from your store, then it means that the person decided they did not want to continue with the checkout process. If this should happen, be sure that you go into your store and reverse this order in the "Order Listings" area so that any inventory controlled items will be updated. Credit Card Payments: If someone has chosen payment by credit card, you will need to log into mals and retrieve the credit card information. Note: Mals does NOT process credit cards, it just retrieves the information and stores it on a secure server for you to process yourself. When you log into your account, you will need to go to Payments and enter your password. Note: this is a different password from the one you use to enter the Admin area. If this is your first time, you will need to set up a payment password. You can then retrieve the credit card information and process it. If you have more then one order, be sure to select the correct one by the invoice # and name as they will all be listed together. If you accept credit card payments through paypal, paypal will handle this information for you, it will not be stored in Mals. Invoices: If you wish to print off an invoice to include in your package or for your records, you can do so by logging into the admin area of mals, then click on "List Orders" and then on "Details" of the order you wish to print off. This will take you to a page that contains an invoice to print. You can then print it off.
