Uploading your Images.
 
Very Important!! BEFORE uploading ANY images make sure you read this!!!
When uploading your images make sure the filename does NOT contain any spaces or symbols. Also make sure they are not too large in size. You do not want them to be larger then 600 pixels. You should be able to adjust your size setting on your camera OR take the images into a paint program and adjust the size. Or you can use our free tool here: http://featurecart.com/jpeg

Image Formats:
For Product Images use only JPEG and GIFF formats. 
JPEG (.jpg) has the best quality for web images, but jpg files are generally larger, and therefore take longer to download.
However the stores built in thumbnailer will reduce these images and there file sizes if they are in jpg format, It will not
reduce the filesize of gif formats only their physical display size 
GIFF (.gif) is required for animated images and images with transparent areas 


When you click on "File Utilities in your store admin, you will be given 4 options to upload to your website. For product images, you want to use one of the 2 options below:

1. Upload Product Pictures & Buttons Up to 10 files at a time
2. Upload Product Pictures & Buttons in Batch (Internet Explorer Only)

Do NOT upload product images to Option # 3 or #4

Note: the "Uploading in Batch" Utility is a powerful file handling utility, The first time you run this utility it will require the download and installation of an ActiveX Control. Be sure to answer yes to the dialog box or it will not be available for your use. It can also be used in Internet Explorer Browsers.

You can also View and Delete Product Images from this area. Be careful NOT to delete any of your website graphics, banners, etc.
